Since mid-December 2024, a Russian Telegram channel affiliated with a group of developers in the field of UAV technology has presented four different types of electronic initiation systems for IEDs. The systems were developed by the developers and was offered at affordable prices to the Russian military.
Some of the electronic initiation systems are similar to the systems used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are based on magnetic field sensors and safe arm delays. They represent an inexpensive, easy-to-implement, yet effective and safer solution for the Russian users.
