On December 22, 2022, a video of an anti-tilt switch and a tutorial for assembling a similar item were published in an Iranian anti-regime Telegram channel, suggesting to use it with a TATP recipe published earlier. These instructional videos, along with other original and older HME tutorials and IED initiation methods, are being distributed in various Iranian anti-regime Telegram channels and groups by administrators, as well as by participants. They encourage protesters to defend themselves from the Iranian Ayatollah regime via an armed struggle. While documentation of protesters using violence from the streets shows mostly Molotov cocktails, a couple of IED incidents have been evidenced as well. Since December 2022, the protests in Iran have shrunk in size. Nevertheless, knowledge and TTPs for violent resistance are being continually disseminated in protest-related Telegram channels and the tense situation may evolve into a larger and more violent resistance.
