Since June 2023, a Ukrainian volunteer unit responsible for the production of improvised bomblets, payload dispensers and other UAV accessories, has prepared and started to offer improvised initiation systems for use with FPV drone-based improvised loitering munitions and fixed-wing improvised loitering munitions to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The initiator is intended to make the arming process safer for the UAV operator and also includes a self-destruct feature.
