On November 28, 2023, a Ukrainian foundation that supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine published images of a new payload for use with weaponized FPV racing drones. A few days later, on November 30, 2023, a video showing one of the munition items, labeled BPBPLA-OF-1100, appeared on a Russian Telegram channel related to military engineering. On December 1, 2023, the same channel posted two more videos, and images from an instructional manual.
