Between August 25 and 26, 2024, the Baloch Liberation Army conducted “Operation Herof,” which consisted of 44 different attacks carried out in the span of 20 hours. This carefully coordinated operation incorporated several tactics, employed simultaneously, which enabled the BLA to successfully attack 40 different locations across 13 districts of Balochistan. Throughout the operation, multiple infrastructures in the region were either destroyed or blockaded for hours on end. Moreover, some 130 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 55 more were injured, making “Herof” the deadliest attack conducted by the BLA in recent times.
