Since early April 2025, documentation of OZM-72 mines modified for delivery by drone by Ukrainian forces has begun appearing on Russian Telegram channels focused on combat activity. All documented cases featured OZM-72 mines encased in a PVC pipe, equipped with an improvised fuze, an electric initiation system, and an improvised mounting stake.
