On September 5, 2024, a parcel IED was delivered to the office of Nicolás Pino, president of the Argentine Rural Society in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The package exploded when it was opened by a secretary in the office, who was slightly injured, with burns on her hands. In recent years, several parcel IEDs sent to various entities in Argentina, by various persons or parties with different agendas and motives, have initiated. Although IED incidents are not common in Argentina, it is evident that IED attacks or the use of different explosives in the country in order to carry out attacks is on the rise, whether driven by Nazi or anti-Semitic motivation, or anarchists with different agendas.
