On September 16, 2024, a Ukrainian military-oriented Telegram channel documented and posted information about the Russian MAG-3 booby trap switch, seized by Ukrainian forces. The initiation device features an integrated magnetic target sensor, a self-destruct mechanism, and an arming mechanism resembling the Ukrainian Djonik system, but with additional features. The original Djonik seems to have been replaced by a newer model called the Verba; documentation showcasing this newer version of the Ukrainian magnetic field electric initiators has been circulating online since June 2024.
