On April 15, 2023, an instructional video was published on a Ukrainian YouTube channel, explaining in detail how to convert a standard PG-7L fuze into an improvised mechanical base-detonating fuse. The modified fuse enables the PG warhead to be used as an improvised UAV bomblet. PG warheads are one of the most common munition items in the array of improvised UAV bomblet ammunition, due to their HEAT properties, and they are used by both Ukrainian and Russian forces.
