On October 27, 2023, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces discovered a workshop for the production of improvised bomblets for armed UAVs and other weapons. The workshop had been abandoned by Armenian forces that left Nagorno-Karabakh following the official seizure of the area by Azerbaijan in late September 2023.
The workshop contained a significant number of payloads for armed UAVs, some fully improvised and others based on PTAB 2.5KO submunition warheads. In similar workshops and arms caches raided in recent months, Armenian-made improvised bomblets for armed UAVs, as well as other types of standard weapons and explosive devices left by the Armenian forces were seized in the Karabakh area.
