Since the beginning of 2024, several appearances of Iranian Ghaem-5 glide bombs have been documented in Sudan. These join numerous incidents in which the Mohajer-6 UAV, which is also produced by and sourced from Iran, was documented amid the ongoing civil war in the African country. Along with other types of UAV platforms, these incidents establish the trend of the introduction of fixed-wing UAVs to the Sudanese arena.
