Our investigations utilizing intelligence platforms such as IRIS, have identified several IS adherents residing in Mauritius, revealing a hybrid risk in which the island may serve as a node for propaganda consumption. The presence of individuals with ties to international militant instant messaging application groups creates a persistent risk that these local adherents may fulfill logistical and support roles for IS operations in primary conflict zones.
