On November 25, 2021, a PREPAK operative was arrested at a roadblock on NH-39 Road in Manipur, India. During his interrogation, he disclosed he had hidden IED components in Thumbi Ching, Nongpok Sanjenbam, in Imphal East District. The weapons were disguised as coconuts and contained C-4 explosives, RC receivers and a transmitter. According to the report, the IEDs were intended for use in an attack against Indian security forces.
