Since June 2025, at least two cases have been documented in which Geran-2 loitering munitions were discovered intact, each equipped with a dual payload configuration. These rare field findings suggest ongoing Russian experimentation with modified warhead assemblies. The dual configuration appears aimed at increasing destructive power and enabling the use of existing warheads in improvised setups to conserve more advanced munitions.
