During the first half of 2025, Russian military sources documented multiple incidents in which, according to reports, Ukrainian forces employed incendiary charges attached to UAS to ignite Russian targets. In some incidents, the IIDs were improvised from bottles containing a flammable liquid mixture. In other cases, the charges were serially-produced IIDs based on a powder incendiary mixture. Several of the IIDs were observed to incorporate an integrated initiation system.
