TGA0779 – Weaponized UAV Lure TTP, Krynky, Ukraine

On March 3, 2024, a Ukrainian Telegram channel published footage of a small UAV intended to lure an enemy soldier toward it before exploding. Upon making contact with the UAV to retrieve it and extract information, the explosive payload would initiate, killing the soldier. For some time, reports from the Ukrainian arena have suggested UAVs have been used in such lure traps. The visual documentation clearly shows the implementation of this tactic, its effectiveness and the necessity of extreme caution when handling decommissioned UAVs.
