In recent months, Russian forces have increasingly showcased documentation of their neutralization of weaponized UAVs carrying explosive payloads fitted with a new family of improvised initiation systems. These systems – referred to as “Angry Doctor” and “Happy Doctor” – appear to originate from the same Ukrainian manufacturer. Both types use an inertial or impact-based initiation principle, activating an electric match head via an electromechanical design.
