On June 5, 2023, a YouTube channel affiliated with the Balochistan Liberation Army that features tutorial videos for tactical training published a step-by-step instructional video of the preparation of an RCIED. The BLA was ranked the fifth most deadly terrorist organization in the world in 2022, responsible for the largest number of deaths. The pace of Balochi insurgent attacks has remained high in recent months as well, with RC systems prominently used by the various Balochi groups.
