This situation presents not only a potential domestic threat in Bangladesh, but the involvement of foreign recruits introduces further operational complexity. Despite counterterrorism interventions, adaptable recruitment networks persist by leveraging digital platforms. Through these networks, Bengalis can be recruited to conduct attacks globally or directed to travel to Pakistan and Afghanistan for formal combat training before carrying out attacks.
